Rylee Brattlie

2025 AMLRC Scholarship Winner

Rylee Brattlie

Rylee was a high-achieving student at Cambridge High School in Wisconsin. She graduated with a 3.975 GPA and completed challenging courses such as AP Chemistry, AP Psychology, and AP Government. Rylee is involved in extracurricular activities such as volleyball, basketball, and tennis. In addition, Rylee has been involved in 4-H for 12 years and held many leadership positions, including the position of President. Rylee has been showing Mini Lops for 8 years, with an average herd of 60 Mini Lops. Highlights of Rylee’s showing career have included Youth BOSB at the 2021 and 2023 ARBA Conventions. In January of 2024, Rylee took two Best in Shows at the Packerland Show with two different Mini Lops. In addition to Rylee’s accomplishments on the show table, Rylee has been the AMLRC Royalty Queen, and she has served as the AMLRC Youth Liaison for the past three years. Rylee is an ambassador for rabbits when her school hosts Agriculture Learning Days for elementary students. Rylee prepares presentations for elementary students and brings 2-3 rabbits for the elementary students to pet, meet, and greet. Rylee has a passion for education and plans on pursuing a double major in Agricultural Education and Technology Engineering Education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

Brayden Hirschman

2025 AMLRC Scholarship Winner

Brayden Hirschman

Brayden is an accomplished student who graduated from St. Johns Public School in Michigan. Brayden graduated with an unweighted GPA of 3.96 while taking courses such as Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry, and AP Calculus. Brayden has raised rabbits since 2016 but is a relative newcomer to Mini Lops, having started them in 2022. He currently has a herd of about 45 Mini Lops. Brayden has accomplished success in his short amount of time with Mini Lops, having won BOSV at the 2024 ARBA Convention. Brayden has also claimed three Best in Shows with his Mini Lops. Brayden plans on pursuing a degree in Crop and Soil Sciences at Michigan State University (MSU) in the fall and plans on becoming an Animal Nutritionist or a Seed Scientist.

2024 AMLRC Scholarship Winner

Carmella Terrones

Carmella and her sisters own and operate a business called 24 Carrot Parties LLC where they host parties that feature their retired show rabbits. In addition to being a business owner, Carmella has impacted her community by providing over 240 volunteer hours, while maintaining academic excellence in high school. Carmella has been a member of the AMLRC for 9 years. She plans to attend the University of Arizona in Tucson to study biomedical engineering and hopes to work for NASA after college.
